- HourlyOverview: The Glacier Club is seeking a part-time Fitness Instructor to join our fun and professional staff! The Part-time Fitness Instructor will be responsible for running fitness classes of varying skills and intensities for individuals and groups and assist during their workouts. Promote health and fitness programs through goal setting and education. Provide participants with in-depth information on equipment usage and lifestyle management. Participate in the development, scheduling and leading of off-site hikes and other outdoor activities. - Duties: Assist in the development of safe and effective exercise programs for individuals of various fitness levels. Conduct and assess health and fitness screenings. Offer useful, tactful and safe advice to individuals regarding their exercise program. Provide safe and effective instruction of all cardio and weight training equipment. Conduct consultations and assess the training need-basis of each potential participant. Facilitate participants in striving to achieve their positive fitness goals. Conduct equipment orientations and cleans and maintains equipment. Maintains written records of participants, equipment, classes and any other historical data needed. All information will be kept in a secure and private location.
