School Nurse

The school nurse will carry out medical orders, conduct required health screenings, monitor student health status for emergent issues, and manage student health records across three school campuses, primarily based at the middle school. Responsibilities also include directing emergency health procedures, administering necessary medications, and developing individualized health care plans for students.

Candidates must possess school nurse certification in new jersey, although the employer will consider an rn/Bsn willing to enroll in the certification program immediately upon hiring. School nurse experience is preferred, along with excellent communication, organization skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
