Afterschool Counselor

This role involves providing direct supervision to children in an afterschool program, creating positive and nurturing relationships with them, and facilitating peer-To-Peer connections. Essential functions include planning and implementing culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate program activities while adhering to all safety and program standards.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with patience and enthusiasm for working with diverse children. Required certifications (Cpr, first aid, aed, oxygen) must be obtained within 60 days, along with mandatory training completion within 30 days of hire.
