Health & Social-Emotional Learning Subject Teacher (2026-27 School Year)

This part-Time role involves guiding a developmentally appropriate health and social emotional learning curriculum rooted in waldorf principles, focusing on human health, human development, and restorative practices to foster student empathy and social responsibility. The teacher will refine and teach this curriculum, collaborate with colleagues, and observe students to support a culture of inclusion and belonging across the grades.

Candidates must have at least one year of prior teaching experience developing curriculum related to physical and mental health, and hold a degree in fields such as health education, public health, child development, counseling, or psychology. A commitment to the developmental model of waldorf education and nyc doe fingerprint clearance are also required.
