Day Services Program / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The direct support professional will coach and engage individuals with developmental disabilities by leading workshops in areas like art, music, and cooking, while also providing direct care and behavioral interventions as needed. Responsibilities include teaching daily life skills, leading community outings, ensuring safety, and accurately documenting daily progress.

Candidates must have at least six months of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or ged. A valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong communication skills are also required for this active role.
