Core responsibilities
The liturgy coordinator supports the director of liturgy and music by preparing and coordinating all liturgical celebrations, including masses, sacraments, and special solemnities, ensuring they are prayerful and well-Coordinated. This role also involves planning funerals, managing liturgical volunteer schedules, recruiting and training ministers, and overseeing the maintenance of liturgical supplies and ministries.
Requirements summary
Required qualifications include a thorough understanding of roman catholic rites, rubrics, and liturgical documents, along with proven ability to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for worship support. A preference is given to candidates with an undergraduate degree in theology or related subjects, or at least two years of parish liturgy experience.
