Special Education Teacher - IDEA Bluff Springs Academy (26-27)

Special education teachers are responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps), providing in-Class support across core subjects like reading, writing, and math, and tracking student progress against outlined service minutes and accommodations. They also serve as the crucial link between home and school for high-Need students and their families.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and hold a valid texas state certification in special education. Experience in a special education classroom setting is strongly preferred, along with knowledge of core academic subjects, curriculum, instruction, and strong skills in student management and family communication.
