Employment Specialist

The employment specialist is responsible for enhancing vocational skills and job readiness for individuals in pre-Vocational and supported employment programs, assisting them in developing skills to obtain and maintain integrated employment. Key duties include providing direct care, implementing supervision, establishing work sites, and ensuring compliance with all required documentation and standards.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and have at least one year of experience working with individuals with varying disabilities. A valid nys driver's license with a clean mvr is mandatory, along with the ability to work independently, multitask efficiently, write legibly, and communicate effectively.
