Camp Nurse

The camp medic is primarily responsible for the health and wellbeing of every camper while at camp, which includes caring for the sick and injured, dispensing medication, and responding to emergencies. Additional duties involve reviewing health records, maintaining logs, and ensuring camper safety and participation in all camp activities.

Candidates should possess 1-2 years of experience working with youth and staff, along with current certification as an emt, lna, cna, rn, or wilderness first aid. Essential qualities include the ability to work well under pressure, respond effectively to medical emergencies, and maintain a positive, caring attitude sensitive to child development.
