Core responsibilities
The behavior analyst is responsible for developing appropriate programs and behavior intervention plans, and supervising their implementation for children with autism diagnoses. This includes assessing learners, creating individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and providing direct therapy and parent training as needed.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in a field related to behavior analysis, hold bcba certification from the bacb, and maintain current state of michigan behavior analyst licensure. A minimum of one year of experience as a bcaba or under bcba supervision, plus at least two years working with youth diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, is required.
