TRIO Instructor | Educational Talent Search - St. Lucie County

The instructor is responsible for designing, planning, and delivering educational programs to middle and/Or high school students from underprivileged backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment to ensure academic success. Specific duties include developing interactive lesson plans across core subjects, providing individualized tutoring, and mentoring students in goal setting and study skills.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in education, mathematics, science, english, or a related field, with a master's degree preferred, alongside a minimum of three years of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with diverse high school students. Required competencies include knowledge of curriculum development for disadvantaged youth, familiarity with college admissions, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in educational technology.
