Military and Veteran's Services Advisor

This role involves providing accurate and timely information, support, and advisement to military members, veterans, and dependents from recruitment through graduation, while also assisting in planning and monitoring related programs and services. Key duties include specialized academic advising, assisting with department of veteran affairs educational programs, and managing a caseload of assigned students through completion.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree along with a minimum of two years of related experience in areas like academic advisement, retention, financial aid, or administration of military/Va educational benefits. Essential qualifications include demonstrated experience advising military and veteran students, knowledge of veteran sociology, strong communication skills, and a student-Centered, customer service orientation.
