This role is responsible for delivering high-Quality instruction and student assessment within the physical therapist assistant program, while also designing curriculum and maintaining the program's accreditation status. Key duties include organizing educational experiences to prepare students for credentialing and employment, and establishing effective plans for recruitment, retention, completion, and placement.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a master's degree in physical therapy or a related health area, along with current florida licensure as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant, and a minimum of five years of professional experience in physical therapy. A terminal degree (Dpt, ph.d., or ed.d.) is preferred, as is prior teaching experience in a post-Secondary pta program.
