Nursing Faculty (9-month)

The instructor of nursing is primarily responsible for teaching a full range of college-Level nursing classes across various modalities and locations, while also developing and evaluating curriculum. Duties include providing academic advisement for nursing students and performing all associated community college faculty responsibilities.

Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution, a valid and active registered nurse license in tennessee or a compact state, and recent professional practice experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in medical-Surgical nursing or as a family nurse practitioner.
