The academic advisor guides students in clarifying academic and career goals, providing proactive consultation, coaching, and interventions to support degree completion and engagement with the college experience. This role involves holistic student support, focusing on the whole person, and collaborating with faculty and partners to promote student success.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree along with two years of advising experience, excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and expert knowledge of professional skills and education requirements. A master's degree in a related field and five years of experience are preferred.
