Core responsibilities
The monitor will maintain a safe and effective learning environment within the west shore restore classroom, establishing procedures for student movement throughout the building. Responsibilities include monitoring students completing assignments, checking comprehension, providing feedback, assisting teachers with progress evaluation, and ensuring special needs services are uninterrupted.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma is required, though prior public-School experience or experience working with adolescents in a licensed setting is preferred. Candidates must understand adolescent social, emotional, and behavioral characteristics and know effective interaction methods.
