Preschool Teacher

The pre-Kindergarten teacher is responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children aged 4 to 5, encouraging curiosity and building confidence to prepare them for kindergarten. This includes planning, supervising, and implementing the curriculum for reading, writing, and math, while collaborating with staff and communicating daily with parents.

Candidates must possess an educational background with 12 semester or 18 quarter early childhood education units, covering child development, family, community, and program/Curriculum, or hold a bachelor's degree in child development. Essential personal attributes include patience, compassion, a genuine love for young children, and strong communication skills, with prior teaching experience being preferred.
