Job description

  • JOB SUMMARY Under direct supervision, provides guidance, supervision and leadership to children participating in the Muckleshoot Summer Camp Program.
  • MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list is intended only to illustrate the various types of work that may be performed.

  • Lead children from grades 1 through 12 or 18 years old in indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Expected to participate in daily group activities.
  • Support youth and staff during offsite field trips.
  • Assist staff and youth with meal preparation and distribution Provide leadership and guidance for children, ensuring their safety in all camp activities.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding the respective child’s camp activities.
  • Complete attendance and all other reports as required by the camp supervisor or camp coordinator.
  • Participate in any pre-camp staff training.
  • May also serve as bus aides.
  • Because of the Tribe’s commitment to community service and the well-being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time.
  • Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.
  • EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
