Instructional Assistant / Paraeducator - Overlake Specialty School (Full Time/Days)

This position involves assisting special needs students in a classroom setting at overlake hospital's specialty school, working closely with the classroom teacher to supervise activities. The assistant also helps in the development and delivery of the individualized education program (Iep).

Candidates must be high school graduates and meet washington state paraprofessional guidelines, which require two years of college credit. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's in education or mental health and experience with behaviorally disturbed or mentally ill children.
