Preschool Teacher (Degreed)

The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate educational programs using digital lesson plans to promote children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development, adhering to the daily schedule and curricula fidelity. Major duties also include providing a warm, nurturing environment, conducting daily health checks, maintaining accurate records, and fostering strong partnerships with families.

Candidates must meet specific educational and experience criteria corresponding to teacher ii, iii, or iv levels, which generally require an associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field with specified credit hours and at least four months of preschool teaching experience. Essential requirements include completing dcf 45-Hour training, passing a level ii background screening, and maintaining current first aid/Cpr certifications.
