Phlebotomy Technician Instructor

Instructors will teach phlebotomy coursework in classroom and laboratory settings, demonstrating and teaching proper patient care according to national and industry standards. Responsibilities also include evaluating student performance, administering national healthcareer association examinations, and scheduling externships.

Candidates must possess a certificate of completion from an approved phlebotomy program and maintain national certification from an accredited national testing organization. A minimum of three years of phlebotomy experience, one year of laboratory experience within the last ten years, and one year of instructor experience (Preferably in phlebotomy) are also required.
