Instructor in Academic Development with ELL Focus

The primary focus is teaching academic development courses, particularly for english language learners and underprepared students, emphasizing core language skills in a student-Centered environment. Faculty members are also responsible for academic advising, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in college-Wide initiatives.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in education with a tesol certificate, or a related master's degree with esl certification, though a master's plus a bachelor's in tesl/English/Linguistics is also considered. Required experience includes teaching/Mentoring diverse groups and successful classroom experience teaching ell or academic development courses, along with technology use in teaching.
