Medical Assistant Program Instructor

The instructor must provide guidance, supervision, and instruction to medical assistant students, ensuring the curriculum meets current performance standards across cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. Key duties include developing lesson plans, performing hands-On and written assessments, maintaining accurate student records, and administering national certification exams.

Candidates must have completed an accredited medical assistant program and hold a current credential from an ncca or ansi accredited organization, or possess verifiable experience in a healthcare-Related field along with instruction in educational theory. A minimum of three years of healthcare facility employment, including 160 hours in an ambulatory setting performing or observing ma procedures, is required, with knowledge of phlebotomy and ecg procedures being mandatory.
