Medical Resident

Residents collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver direct medical care, focusing on diagnosing patient medical issues and developing appropriate management and treatment strategies. Responsibilities include taking medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, and executing medical procedures.

Candidates must have graduated from medical school and be prepared for postgraduate medical training in internal medicine. Applicants must be eligible for south carolina medical licensure and possess basic life support (Bls) certification from the american heart association before patient contact.
