Employment Counselor

The employment counselor provides individualized vocational support to adults with disabilities, assisting them in exploring careers, developing job readiness skills, securing competitive integrated employment, and maintaining long-Term job success. Key duties involve conducting vocational assessments, developing employment plans, providing job coaching, monitoring progress, and maintaining all required documentation.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma plus 2 years' experience in human services or education, though a bachelor's degree in human services, education, or psychology is preferred. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs and stand for periods of time, with schedule flexibility for nights and weekends.
