The instructional aide 1

1 provides direct, individualized support and guidance to assigned k-12 students within special education programs, both in the classroom and community settings. This role involves closely collaborating with teachers to implement individualized education plans (Ieps) and applying targeted behavioral interventions.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with passage of a basic skills test, and prior experience supporting children, preferably in special education or behavioral health settings, is highly valued. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or higher and relevant paraprofessional credentials.
