Core responsibilities
Instructional assistants will support teachers by planning and implementing daily lessons and activities based on weekly themes, attending staff meetings, and ensuring a safe, productive environment in collaboration with staff. Responsibilities also include collecting data, contributing to parent communications, and maintaining a clean classroom.
Requirements summary
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or coursework towards one preferred, along with experience working with children who have special learning challenges, sensory issues, or communication difficulties, preferably those associated with asd or adhd. Applicants must be comfortable managing dysregulatory behaviors and maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
