Special Education Paraprofessional

The special education paraprofessional will support students with academic, behavioral, and self-Care goals while implementing individualized education programs (Ieps) and positive behavior support plans under teacher guidance. Responsibilities also include assisting with transitions, activities, personal care, and accurately collecting behavioral and progress data to maintain a supportive learning environment.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with a minimum of three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities. Essential qualifications include knowledge of behavior management strategies, strong communication, and the ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
