Special Education Paraprofessional - 2026-2027 School Year

The special education paraprofessional will collaborate with teachers to directly support students with academic, behavioral, and self-Care objectives, including implementing individualized education programs (Ieps) and positive behavior support plans. Responsibilities also involve assisting students with daily needs, transitions, and accurately collecting behavioral and progress data to maintain a supportive learning environment.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities. Essential qualifications include knowledge of behavior management strategies, strong communication, and the ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
