Health & Nutrition Services Professional / RN - Norwalk

This role involves serving as the health & nutrition services professional for early childhood programs, responsible for delivering required health screenings, tracking medical care, and ensuring compliance with head start performance standards for child health and safety. Additionally, the professional oversees nutrition services, interfaces with vendors, and integrates nutrition education into the classroom curriculum and for families.

Candidates must possess a state of ct dph rn license along with a minimum of two years of early childhood experience or equivalent. Successful candidates must also pass a physical examination, background check, and fingerprinting screen, maintain cpr and first aid certification, and possess basic computer literacy.
