Core responsibilities
The registered behavior technician provides direct support to students in 1
1 or group settings following iep/Pbsp guidelines under bcba supervision, implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition protocols. This role also involves collecting and recording behavior data and assisting the bcba/Bsc with functional behavior assessments and skill acquisition tasks.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have completed the 40-Hour rbt training, and hold active certification through the bacb. A minimum of 1 year of experience providing behavior technician services is preferred, along with excellent communication, organizational skills, and required pa clearances.
