School Based Behavioral Health Liaison - Montgomery County

The liaison ensures adherence to the multi-Tiered system of supports (Mtss) framework by providing technical assistance and training for the school based behavioral health liaison (Sbbhl) program. Key duties include assisting schools in implementing trauma-Informed practices, training personnel, providing student interventions, and fostering positive relationships between schools and families.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in a social or behavioral science or a related acceptable field, coupled with one to three years of experience or training in social services. Required qualifications also include experience working with children/Youth with significant behavioral health needs, a valid tennessee driver’s license, and an acceptable motor vehicle report and criminal background investigation.
