School Based Counselor

The school-Based counselor/Social worker provides case management and mental health support services at schools and in student homes, alongside offering consultation to school personnel and liaison support to community agencies. Duties include providing trauma-Informed therapy, case management for at-Risk students, training school staff on trauma-Informed approaches, and developing educational programs.

A master's degree is required, preferably in counseling or social work, along with one of the following active licenses: Licensed professional counselor (Lpc), licensed social worker (Lsw), or licensed clinical social worker (Lcsw). Candidates must possess excellent communication and relationship-Building skills, proficiency in clinical interventions, and knowledge of community resources.
