Responsibilities include leading clinics, conducting pre/Post inspections of watercraft, upholding safety expectations on the waterfront, and professionally engaging with parents and guardians.

Requirements summary

Applicants must be 18 years or older and preferably 21 years of age or older, with previous experience in canoeing, kayaking, sailing, boating, waterskiing, tubing, swimming, and/Or water safety instruction required. Candidates must be strong swimmers, willing to obtain open water lifeguard certification (Or be trained by the y), and possess at least 1-2 years of experience working with children in a camp or outdoor leadership setting.
