Job description

Position Overview

The Westchester Therapeutic Home Finder and Recruiter will be an integral part of the Westchester Therapeutic Foster Boarding Home program. The Westchester Therapeutic Home Finder and Recruiter will be recruiting, training, certifying, and recertifying therapeutic foster and kinship families for youth involved with the Westchester County Department of Social Services. The Westchester Therapeutic Home Finder and Recruiter will conduct community outreach for potential foster and kinship families and walk them through the process of becoming foster/adoptive parents.

Position Qualifications

Associates Degree preferred. At least 3 years’ experience in human services/home finding required. Training experience a must and some familiarity with recruitment preferred. MAPP, Mini-MAPP, GPS II/NTDC Deciding together and/or TRIPP certification preferred.
