Vocational Instructor

The vocational instructor develops and refines vocational skills of clients using teaching techniques and maintains detailed records of client behavior, performance, and progress on goals. Responsibilities include providing prescriptive vocational programs, overseeing assigned work areas, ensuring work quality, and facilitating client growth through individualized plans.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, and some positions may require a valid driver's license and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. A minimum of one year of experience in a habilitative or vocational setting serving adults with developmental disabilities is required, with specific educational requirements varying by instructor level (Vocational instructor 1 through 4).
