Peer Tutor

The peer tutor is responsible for providing academic support through individual and small-Group tutoring in designated subjects, reinforcing course concepts, and promoting effective study strategies for student success. Key duties include maintaining accurate session documentation, adhering to policies, and referring students to appropriate support services when necessary.

Required qualifications include current enrollment as a student at the rochester general college of health careers and a minimum of one year of experience in the academic program. Preferred qualifications involve prior tutoring or mentoring experience and familiarity with learning management systems.
