  • SUMMARY: The Peer Tutor provides academic support to fellow students by offering tutoring in designated subject areas. The Peer Tutor reinforces course concepts, promotes effective study strategies, and supports student success while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and academic integrity.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide individual and small-group tutoring in assigned courses. Assist students with concept clarification, study strategies, test preparation, and skill reinforcement. Support development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills appropriate to healthcare education. Maintain accurate tutoring session documentation and attendance records. Refer students to appropriate academic or student support services when needed. Maintain confidentiality of student records and academic information. Adhere to tutoring center policies, schedules, and professionalism standards. Participate in tutor training, meetings, and ongoing development activities
