Chess Teacher (Part Time, In-Person)

The chess teacher plans and facilitates an extracurricular course for elementary, middle, and high school students, developing a curriculum covering movement, strategy, and gameplay. Major duties include meeting with the director of educational development and applying learned skills toward chess competitions.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and extensive knowledge of chess, along with the ability to work independently using critical thinking and problem-Solving skills. Required abilities include strong interpersonal and organizational skills, responsibility, discretion, and the capacity to work with diverse student populations.
