Accessibility Support Counselor

The accessibility support counselor coordinates comprehensive university-Wide efforts to ensure students with disabilities receive reasonable accommodations in academic and professional rotations by liaising between students and academic programs. This role involves coordinating accommodation services, conducting intake interviews to evaluate eligibility under the ada, and providing academic supportive counseling to students.

Required qualifications include a master's degree in a related field such as social work or counseling, along with two years of full-Time experience working with young adults with disabilities in an educational or community setting. Candidates must also have experience with the legal framework for student accommodations and diagnostic assessment documentation.
