Behavior Specialist (Powder Mill Campus-Beltsville, MD)

The behavior specialist serves as the case manager for student behavioral programming, primarily responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (Bips) after conducting functional behavioral assessments (Fbas). This role involves training staff, monitoring plan efficacy through data collection, and implementing crisis management procedures.

Candidates must obtain and maintain professional crisis management (Pcm) and cpr certifications, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. A minimum of two years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities is mandatory, and rbt or bcaba certification is preferred.
