The social worker ii provides clinical social work services, including assessments and therapy, to students and families while developing and implementing mental health individual education program (Iep) goals. Responsibilities also include serving as a training model, collaborating on behavioral plans, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Candidates must possess and maintain both a licensed master social worker (Lmsw) license from maryland and an educator license as a school social worker from the maryland state department of education. A master's degree from an accredited school of social work is required, along with previous clinical experience serving children and adolescents with disabilities.
