Job Description

Provides confidential administrative support and assistance to the Executive Director and Directors of the Center for Workforce Training. This position's anticipated start date is July 1st, 2026. Essential Functions: Maintains schedules for department meetings and events according to established guidelines Manages and creates correspondence forms, reports and databases etc. Manages communication and exchange of information as appropriate and takes messages for the department Maintains files and records as needed for the Center for Workforce Training Assists Contract Training with the purchase of training supplies and filing of proposals and training plans Enters purchase orders and coordinates travel for the Executive Director Assists Executive Director with preparation of Board reports and other reporting Provides fill-in assistance within department as necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Office machine operation, Computer skills including Microsoft office programs, organizational skills, minute-taking ability Interpersonal skills- excellent spelling and grammar, written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize facts and materials for presentations. Capability to make quick decisions under pressure. Ability to manage several projects at once. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers. Ability to work supervised and unsupervised. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
