Mental Health Counselor/ Specialization in Neurodivergent Students

The counselor will provide a full range of clinical services, focusing 65% on direct counseling, intake, crisis intervention, and group facilitation, while dedicating 35% to outreach, consultation, and administrative duties. A key specialization involves providing tailored mental health services to students on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent conditions.

Minimum qualifications require a master’s degree in a related field and a california license as an lmft, lcsw, or lpcc, along with clinical experience in crisis stabilization. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and sensitivity working with diverse populations and possess strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
