Pre-K Blended Instructional Assistant - Special Education

This role provides instructional support and assistance to teachers coordinating programs for special education students, ensuring compliance with their individual education plans (Ieps) and maintaining a safe learning environment. Responsibilities include assisting with behavioral plans, preparing materials, implementing assistive technology, and supporting students with personal health and mobility needs.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and be working towards an associate’s degree in an early childhood field or hold a child development associate (Cda) credential, or meet essa requirements with relevant coursework or experience. A mandatory requirement is holding or working towards a crisis prevention and intervention (Cpi) certification.
