Summer Day Camp Medical Professional - Camp Pikati

The medical professional is responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of the camp community by monitoring health conditions, reviewing medical histories, and managing daily medical logs and incident reports. This role also involves dispensing prescribed medicine, communicating with the on-Call camp physician and parents, and maintaining a clean, well-Stocked infirmary.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with at least a high school education and must possess current first aid and cpr certifications as a professional rescuer, along with prior experience as a medical responder. Essential qualifications include sound judgment, integrity, strong human relations skills, and the ability to perform physical assessments on children aged 3–14.
