Instructor, Medical Laboratory Technology

The instructor is responsible for teaching medical laboratory technology, which includes keeping up with field developments, constructively evaluating student work, and developing and using appropriate course materials within guidelines. They must also maintain high academic and professional standards while ensuring student access through posted conference hours and timely communication.

Required qualifications include an associate degree in medical laboratory science and holding an mlt certification by the ascp, along with a minimum of three years of work experience in a medical laboratory setting. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and instructional experience utilizing various teaching methods.
