Bambini childcare is seeking a responsible, caring, and energetic MSDE-qualified School Age Teacher to join our after-school program team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where kids can thrive after school.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children during arrival, transitions, snack time, and structured activities
- Provide homework help and encourage academic engagement
- Lead fun, age-appropriate activities, including crafts, games, and enrichment
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
- Keep accurate records (attendance, incident reports, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with parents, team members, and leadership
- Follow MSDE Office of Child Care regulations and program policies at all times
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Completed the 90-Hour School Age Child Care Certification (or approved equivalent)
- Minimum of 400 hours of supervised experience working with school-aged children
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Ability to pass all required background checks and medical clearances
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a licensed child care or school-age program
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children

- Part-Time | Monday–Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- hourly pay $17-$20
