Bambini childcare is seeking a responsible, caring, and energetic MSDE-qualified School Age Teacher to join our after-school program team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where kids can thrive after school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise children during arrival, transitions, snack time, and structured activities
  • Provide homework help and encourage academic engagement
  • Lead fun, age-appropriate activities, including crafts, games, and enrichment
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
  • Keep accurate records (attendance, incident reports, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with parents, team members, and leadership
  • Follow MSDE Office of Child Care regulations and program policies at all times

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  • Completed the 90-Hour School Age Child Care Certification (or approved equivalent)
  • Minimum of 400 hours of supervised experience working with school-aged children
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • Ability to pass all required background checks and medical clearances
