Sterilization Technician

The technician is responsible for the proper cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of all dental instruments, equipment, and operatories while ensuring compliance with osha, cdc, and internal protocols. This role also involves coordinating sterilization expectations with clinical staff, maintaining accurate logs, and managing inventory of necessary supplies.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though completion of a certified dental assisting program or infection control training is strongly preferred. Relevant experience in dental sterilization and infection control, along with certifications like danb’s ice, are highly favored.
