Milieu Counselor

The primary role is to provide guidance and supervision to children and adolescents in a residential setting, assisting residents with daily life decisions, conduct, and discipline according to agency policy. This includes implementing and maintaining trauma systems therapy (Tst) to promote the physical and mental well-Being of each child.

Candidates should be empathetic, good listeners who enjoy working with youth and possess a hopeful outlook, capable of working flexible hours including weekends and evenings. Requirements include reliable transportation with specific seating capacity, a valid driver's license, and sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic issues.
