Pharmacy Resident PGY 1 - Danbury Hospital Med Ed Pharmacy Residency

The resident will perform all functions required for proper medication management according to accepted standards and fulfill competency areas assigned by leadership. Key duties include providing safe and appropriate pharmaceutical care, verifying medication orders, monitoring therapy, and responding to emergency codes.

A graduate of an acpe accredited doctor of pharmacy degree program is required, along with holding or being eligible for connecticut pharmacist licensure, which must be obtained within 90 days of starting. Applicants must be highly motivated pharmacists seeking advanced training leading to an enhanced level of professional practice.
